Ready is built so your data stays on your Mac.
No permissions
Ready asks for no Accessibility, Screen Recording, Automation, Full Disk Access or Input Monitoring permission, and installs no privileged helper. It uses only what macOS gives every app.
What Ready stores
Your modes, snapshots and the restore journal are saved in ~/Library/Application Support/Ready, and preferences in the app's settings. Nothing is uploaded.
No screen capture
Snapshot thumbnails are drawn from window positions and sizes only. Ready never captures what's on your screen.
No analytics
There is no account, no analytics and no tracking in the app.
Network only when you ask
Activating a license and checking for updates contact the network; these never include your modes or anything about your apps.
Payments
Purchases are processed by our payment provider in your browser; we never see your card details.
This website
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log basic request data. It uses no cookies or analytics.
